Taylor Smith grew up in Orange, California, where she developed a competitive spirit and strong sense of discipline through years of playing club soccer. Those early experiences taught her the value of teamwork, resilience, and determination—qualities she carries into her legal practice today. Driven by a love of new challenges and an unwavering desire to win, she has built her career on advocating for those in need of strong representation.
Ms. Smith earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine, before completing her Juris Doctorate at Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, California. During law school, she distinguished herself as a Fellow at the Center for Children and Family Rights, a member of her law school’s Moot Court Honors Board, which she sat on the Board in the position of Juvenile Justice, and an advocate in the Special Education Clinic. Her dedication to defending the rights of children earned her the 2017 Outstanding Graduate in Children’s Rights Award. Having worked in personal injury since her college years, starting as an assistant and later in reception, she returned to the field as an attorney to continue her passion for supporting clients through some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
Outside of her practice, Ms. Smith enjoys traveling—having visited 28 countries to date— along with snowboarding, reading, and spending time with family, friends, and her dog. An animal lover and advocate, she finds joy in the outdoors and in giving back to her community. Guided by the belief that one should “bloom where you are planted,” she is motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in her community by working hard and advocating for those who need it most.
