Melody Parman grew up with a natural passion for debate, advocacy, and leadership, interests that guided her toward a career in law. At UCLA, she served as President of the Political Science Club and competed on the Model United Nations team, experiences that honed her skills in public speaking, research, and analysis. She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law in San Diego, completing the three-year program in just two years, a testament to her determination and focus. Since being admitted to practice law in California in 2010, she has devoted her career to personal injury law, where she has found her greatest purpose in giving a voice to those harmed by negligence.
Over the course of her career, Ms. Parman has achieved significant results for her clients, including helping secure some of the largest settlements in California history. Among these are a $45 million settlement for a severely injured minor, a $42.75 million recovery for a traumatic brain injury caused by improper U-Haul maintenance, and a $27 million settlement for a motorcyclist beyond the applicable policy limits. Her work has earned national recognition, including honors such as Top 40 Under 40 Trial Attorney, Top 25 Woman Trial Attorneys in California, and consistent recognition by Super Lawyers from 2016 through 2025. She is an active member of the California Applicants Attorneys Association, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, the American Association for Justice, and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and has contributed to Avrek Law’s recovery of more than $2 billion for injured clients.
Outside of her practice, Ms. Parman finds balance through travel, fitness, yoga, hiking, and her passion for food and cooking. She stays engaged with politics and current events, which sharpens her perspective as an advocate. At her core, she is driven by a commitment to fairness, particularly when representing children and families, and she draws inspiration from her own family. Working alongside her mother, sisters, nieces, and close friends has deepened her sense of accountability and purpose, while her husband, Eric, their two children, Luca and Emma, and their dogs, Maya and Owen, remind her daily of the importance of protecting and supporting every client as if they were her own loved ones.
