Samuel Mendez was born and raised in the beautiful city of Los Angeles, CA, in a conservative household where he learned the values of hard work, education, and compassion for others. For years, Sam surrounded himself with books and learning tools, always hungry to learn as much as possible about the world around him. Eventually, this passion for education carried him to the University of California, Irvine, where he studied Theater, Film Studies, and developed a passion for the law as well.
Apart from bettering himself, Sam has also been a very helpful individual throughout his young life, always lending a helping hand to those in need. He began this passion for helping others as a young middle school aged boy, tutoring neighborhood kids and helping them improve their grades. He then continued on to tutoring kids in high school and eventually working as a trained tutor after graduating from UCI, where he earned the praise of parents and students alike for his passionate approach to teaching. Sam has also started an independent charity called “Santa’s Red Bags”, where he travels around the streets of Los Angeles and provides homeless individuals with a red bag full of survival tools. Sam continues to carry on this passion for helping others here at Avrek Law Firm, where he specializes in helping individuals from the Latino community with their personal injury cases.
When he is not busy at the law firm, Sam enjoys weightlifting and playing basketball, his two biggest passions in life. Additionally, he enjoys learning languages and reading non-fiction literature. Sam is also a passionate dog lover, and plans on expanding his canine family soon!
